GRADE 5

The students of Grade 5 worked in groups to write short skits of their own which they then enacted in class. The students also participated in an activity where they worked in pairs to prepare interview questions and then take turns to interview each other.

cis: Language plays a crucial role in the child’s life-long learning and communication as it helps in developing cognitive skills and also fosters inter-cultural respect. At CIS, we recognise and appreciate cultural diversity and promote respect for all languages and communities. The studying of languages is flexible and evolves with the changing needs of the school population. In the Junior Section of CIS, the students begin to learn more than one language which they continue to develop even when they are in Senior School. This blog has been created to acknowledge and appreciate students' effort in learning the languages.
