Creations by the students in Mandarin
The students of Mandarin prepared posters and brochures on Singapore, Beijing and England. They also made colourful illustrations of Beijing Opera Masks.
Painted opera masks were originally clay imitations of the facial makeup of the performers on the stage of Peking Opera. Before the appearance of three-dimensional opera masks, drawings of the facial makeup had been commonly seen (source: chinatoday.com.cn).
